So as I build Rubenn I have been debating going DW Dagger or DW Unarmed. I built him knowing I was going to respec him around level 40 or so but I am a bit torn on which way to go. It seems that UA does great on everything except for Steelies. Well, after 40 I can fight many other things besides Steel Golems so I feel like UA would be better for soloing stuff.

I plan on having max summon and conj (obviously modded) and wearing t3 half plate solo and t4 fluted when in party. Anyone have any suggestions. As far as what I've ever done with Carrik as DW UA he rips apart most everything. My main goal is Eldritch golems and hopefully Gents, plus R3 obviously.

i have a dw/dagger toon and he does gents with a healer quite easily. i have tried eldritch golems or ruins3, but i've seen dw/dagger in r3 do well also.

But I want to solo gents, I figured DW Dagger would be better, what buffs does your dw dagger have?

top conj... i've never soloed a gent with my dw/dagger toon. someone else can field that question...

well dagger and ua at 475 gives you an option to kill everything except a few mobs well ua lvls faster and prolly kills faster to but on a diabolist are the -% better on dagger so you could make a stronger toon

yes the % mod are definitely better on diabolist for dw dagger than dw UA... good point... I think I can have top summoning and top conj with dw dagger by 50

For gents UA is better if you use claws. Slash is what hurts them most. Knives are pretty much the same but UA has flurry so you can kill them faster. Mind you, after lvl 45 you get less and less valor so best to go hunt gents is 40+. You can solo 1 easily in t3 reinf scale with mward and conj sphere (lvl 100) and pet - if it takes hit, good. You can attack gents 2-3x while he hits once.

Also for r3 UA is better. Daggers have problems with skeletons.

Elds... welll UA wins again. But to solo you need at least mward and sphere again. Then necro aegis helps greatly as well as elemental shield. Shamanic aegis is lot worse then necro one on elds. I can tell you this. With dw/ua at 450+ mward/major necro aegis and sphere you can solo 2 quite easily. Oh don't forget buffed dev. That's your life saver. With mward and necro aegis he can take like 5 hits. Chalite armor works greatly but with some good plate you get hurt less hp/bp but a little more ep.

Its sad but UA is better than dagger on pretty much everything in this game.
A dw ua orc diab with major summ/conj can solo any enemy except some bosses easy at level 51. Maybe the steel golems take some time but i wouldnt say they are hard.

Btw, i would go for different builds for killing elds than for being in r3 and genting. If you wanna kill elds its enough with 25 armor and maxed UA/dw.
Maybe get major sham/summ and some conj too. And make it an orc pugilist.
